Karl Markovics

Karl Markovics portrays the fraudulent Bank Director in LITTLE ROBBERS. Although best known for his role in Austrian TV series “Inspector Rex”, Karl Markovics is a respected stage actor, appearing in many theater plays and musicals. He was brought to international attention after starring in “The Counterfeiter”, film that won 2008 Foreign Language Academy Award. His recent and up-coming German language film appearances include Dr. Sigmund Freud in “Mahler on the Sofa”, Coligny in “Henry IV” and “Nanga Parbat”, telling the story of the tragic Himalaya expedition of Messner brothers.
